In his talk, Anssi Lassila will focus on the Puukuokka and Pihapetäjä projects as examples of the application of a volumetric modular system for multi-story wooden apartment buildings. In addition, he will expand from those two cases by showing the plans for the wooden districts in Porvoo and Puukivistö.

The Modular CLT Toolbox illustrates how the modular principle can be modified to create an entire neighborhood with wooden housing of different scales and typologies. Anssi Lassila will also discuss the new campus house for STEP Professional Training Center in Järvenpää as an example of the use of CLT in an education building.

The lecture will be simultaneously interpreted into Czech.
