Two OOPEAA projects were selected as winners of THE PLAN AWARD 2022: The Karlsson Housing for Housing and the Tikkurila Church and Housing for Public Space.

The Karlsson Housing features generous balconies and terraces to extend the living space of its residents. It has been selected as a finalist for THE PLAN Awards 2022.

Housing all functions under one roof, the building of Konsthall Tornedalen is divided into three distinct zones according to use: galleries for exhibiting art, public spaces and a restaurant for people to come together in, and supportive spaces for the staff to work in.

The new block of the Seinäjoki Station Area provides both housing and services. With a balanced mix of housing, services, businesses and open public space, it helps to strengthen social sustainability in the area.

The performance stage of the Kontra pavilion in the heart of Seinäjoki will be inaugurated this weekend with a full day of programming on Saturday.
