New Construction Act to Address Climate Change

The current Land Use and Construction Act has been in force since the turn of the millennium. During the past two decades, the operating environment of construction has changed significantly. The new Construction Act is tailored to address climate change, promote the circular economy, improve the quality of construction, streamline construction, and support digitalization of the built environment. It will also lighten the administrative burden and bureaucracy, clarify the right of appeal and clarify issues of responsibility. The new law about building and construction enters into force on January 1, 2025.
