Happy Holidays and a Joyful New Year

After a busy year with many inspiring projects, it is time again to pause for a moment and enjoy time with family and friends during the holidays. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to our excellent team for their hard work and commitment. I also want to thank our collaborators and clients for their vision and dedication. Together with all of you we have been able to create meaningful work that we all can be proud of.

We are especially happy to see the new Seinäjoki Station building inaugurated just in time for the holidays. The next buildings in the complex around the Seinäjoki Station area will gradually be completed in the coming year. It has been a great pleasure to see Lastu, the new wooden campus building for the STEP Professional Training Center in Järvenpää warmly welcomed by students, faculty and the community of residents in its first full year of operations. Lastu has also been recognized by several nominations for awards both internationally and in Finland, including Bronze in Design Educates award. It was also finalist for the Finlandia Prize in Architecture for the PLAN Awards.

During the year have also had the opportunity to work on some long term projects, Konsthall Tornedalen among them. We are looking forward to the start of construction of the Konsthall in the coming year.
