The exhibition RE-CREATION – The Resilience of Architecture is now open at the 14th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia. The exhibition is commissioned by the Museum of Finnish Architecture. It is curated by Juulia Kauste, Director of Museum of Finnish Architecture, and Ole Bouman, Creative Director of the Shenzhen BI-CITY Biennale of Urbanism\Architecture (UABB) and Founding Director of the Value Factory Academy, Shenzhen. The installation was created by Anssi Lassila and OOPEAA to investigate the concept of resilience in architecture.

Our installation and exhibition at the Venice Architecture Biennale – Finnish Pavilion will open next Friday, 6th June, at 2.15 p.m. The Biennale will open to public on 7th June. Lassila Hirvilammi Architects takes on a new name. Beginning in June 2014 the office will operate under the name of OOPEAA Office for Peripheral Architecture. The new name puts their vision for architecture in the center.
