Please join us at the Open Discussion:
RE-CREATION – THE RESILIENCE OF ARCHITECTURE
WHAT’S NEXT?

The discussion will be held in Venice on Wednesday October 29, 2014 1 pm–2 pm at the Alvar Aalto Pavilion of Finland, Giardini di Castello.

The Museum of Finnish Architecture, the Architecture Information Centre Finland and OOPEAA are meeting once again before the Biennale ends to discuss  ‘Re-Creation. The Resilience of Architecture – What’s Next?’.

“Re-Creation brings the art of making back to the forefront. It shows how, despite and within the robust tendencies towards abstraction and globalization, architecture can create and facilitate situations in which the makers are the determining factor of cultural value. So what’s next?”

The discussion will be hosted by:
Juulia Kauste, Curator of the Finnish Pavilion
Anssi Lassila, Architect and Exhibitor of the Finnish Pavilion
